Is this a joke?

Simply awful. Completely impractical for anyone who wants to scan the news quickly. The dumbing down of the news by wasting both time and page space. What as someone thinking? Do they actually read newspapers and understand there purpose? Its not supposed to be glitz and razzle-dazzle BS. What a way to screw over great content.
