More journalism, less "slick" graphics, please.

Okay, Ill admit to being "of a certain age", so forgive my carping on what I think is the indue emphasis on eye-grabbing photos and themed title fonts. The story is the thing, and WaPo employs some excellent journalists - the reason I subscribe. I find the apps tendency to rely on 2/3-page leading images annoying and unnecessarily - perhaps unwittingly -editorializing. Id prefer more text on the page so I dont have to scroll past the huge images so much.
